Four age categories ensure every player develops at their own pace, with the right group from day one. Prior experience is welcome but never required.

Mini (ages 6–8)

Playful initiation. Short classes focused on coordination, balance, and love for the sport. The perfect time for a first swing.

Infantil (ages 9–11)

Technical foundation. Strokes, footwork, and game rules are developed in a dynamic, motivating environment.

Juvenil (ages 12–15)

Progressive competitive training. Internal tournaments, strategy, teamwork, and a sports character grounded in solid values.

Senior (ages 16+)

High performance and federation-level preparation. FCT tournaments, business mentoring, and a pathway to university leagues and the open circuit.

What do you need
to enroll?

Gather these documents before the formal enrollment. They are straightforward to obtain and ensure the safety of all program participants.

Guardian's ID

Copy of the national ID of the parent, mother, or legal guardian of the minor.

Minor's identity document

Copy of the child's national ID or birth certificate.

Proof of address

Electricity, water, or phone bill showing the family's current address.

Medical certificate

A simple medical note stating: "Fit for sports practice." Any general practitioner can issue it.

Shirt size

Provide the player's current shirt size (XS, S, M, L, XL) at the time of formal enrollment.

The program accepts participants from age 6. The four categories are: Mini (6–8), Infantil (9–11), Juvenil (12–15), and Senior (16+), ensuring appropriate development at every stage.

No. The Initiation groups are designed for players with no prior experience. All that is needed is a willingness to learn and comfortable sportswear.

Classes for children and youth aged 6 to 17 are completely free, made possible through the corporate events model that sustains the program. Access is a direct benefit of the Legado Tenis CR ecosystem.

The trial session is free and lasts approximately 60 minutes. The coach assesses the player's level, coordination, and enthusiasm, and at the end guides the family on the most suitable group.

The first Legado Tenis CR location is in Santa Ana, San José. We start with our court in Santa Ana and the project is built to grow and adapt to new locations.

Yes. We welcome players from across the Greater Metropolitan Area and surrounding zones. Santa Ana is strategically located with access from multiple routes. Write to us to confirm schedules based on your area.

Yes. As the player progresses, they will take part in internal program tournaments and, in the Advanced groups, in federation tournaments organized by the FCT (Costa Rican Tennis Federation).

Tennis has
no age limit.
